Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh visits Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)

P.M Mohammad Shtayyeh met with BCCI board of directors in addition to a group of businessmen and businesswomen, Along with a number of official and governmental representatives.
Dr. Hazboun chairman of BCCI welcomed Dr. Shtayyeh and explained the purpose of the meeting, he elaborated on the role that BCCI plays in representing the private sector in Bethlehem Governorate through out all economic sectors. Also, he praised the role that the Palestinian government represented by Dr. Shtayyeh plays in supporting the Bethlehem Governorate economically.
Dr. Shtayyeh thanked BCCI for its constant efforts in developing the local economy and the private sector. He also spoke about the government's program and direction, quoting:
“The program of the government is intended to balance development according to geography, so we adopted the clusters strategy, according to the competitive advantage of each governorate, Bethlehem will be a tourist cluster, and we will be partners in the development of the city of Bethlehem to give it the tourist characteristics it need”
At the end of the meeting, the discussion was opened and a number of questions were answered.
