Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry holds an informative meeting regarding the latest updates on the social security law

BCCI held an informative meeting to discuss the latest updates on the social security law. The aim of the meeting was to provide an overview of the general framework of the law, explain its provisions, and clarify its details. Mr. Adel Al-Hodali, the Financial Secretary of BCCI and a member of the Federation of Palestinian Chambers, presented a detailed intervention regarding the provisions of the social security law. He briefed the attendees on the obligations that employers will have and addressed several issues related to rights, compensation, injury insurance, maternity leave, and other relevant issues for private sector establishments. Mr. Hodali also mentioned  key provisions that are still under negotiation between the stakeholders and the government, emphasizing the private sector's perspectives on these matters. Attendees actively engaged with questions, inquiries, and interventions related to the discussed issues. These were addressed and clarified, and a commitment was made to maintain open lines of communication with the Chamber for further inquiries or updates.
