Quality Management System
Driven by our firm belief in the importance of quality and institutional excellence, the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce & Industry is committed to embedding quality as a core value in the services we provide and the activities we implement. For us, quality is not merely a slogan; it represents a practical commitment to our members and all relevant interested parties, and a fundamental pillar for building trust and ensuring sustainability. Based on this principle, and since 2002, we have adopted the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standard, within a framework that reflects a long-term strategic vision aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and improving the quality of services delivered to members of the General Assembly and beneficiaries.
ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard designed to ensure the consistent delivery of services that meet the needs and expectations of General Assembly members, as well as applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Our pursuit of ISO 9001 certification is not merely a formal or symbolic achievement; rather, it represents a sustained institutional commitment to quality and sound governance, and demonstrates our ongoing pursuit of operational excellence. It also reflects our genuine dedication to our members through the implementation of an institutional approach based on the process approach, risk-based thinking, and continual performance evaluation. This contributes to strengthening good governance practices and building trust with members and all relevant interested parties.
The importance of ISO 9001 certification is reflected in several key aspects, including:
• Enhancing Members Satisfaction: ISO 9001 places members satisfaction at the core of operational processes by ensuring the provision of services that meet, and strive to exceed, members’ needs and expectations.
• Consistency and Efficiency: The standard promotes the standardization and clear structuring of procedures and processes, reducing operational errors and enhancing efficiency and the quality of outputs.
• Continual Improvement: ISO 9001 is founded on the principle of continual improvement, enabling regular performance review, the adoption of best practices, and effective adaptation to change.
• Risk Management: The system supports the identification, assessment, and effective management of potential risks, thereby enhancing organizational resilience and sustainability.
