Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce & Industry concludes training entitled “how to start a business from the idea to inception”

Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce & Industry concluded a training entitled “How to start a business” was presented by several consultants and successful businessmen from USA, who came to Palestine within a delegation headed by Pastor Kevin Brown
Dr. Samir Hazboun, BCCI Chairman of the Board of Directors, opened the training and welcomed the visiting delegation, and thanked them for their interest to transfer their experiences, asserting on the importance of such initiative in the current circumstances. Pastor Brown from his side, pointed to the crises currently going throughout the world and the need to endeavor to overcome them, and gave an example of the history of oppression suffered by African Americans in the USA over the years which ended as a result of steadfastness, perseverance, and resistance and eventually crowned by electing an African American president for USA.



The target group of the training is the new graduates, entrepreneurs, and all of those who wish to set up a small project, in addition to a number of local businesses owners from the general assembly members who wish to benefit from the training material provided by the trainers. Participants in the training expressed their admiration of the training techniques, and the personal experience of the trainers in starting up their projects and their practical experience as well.



Trainers divided the participants into groups in accordance to the founding phase of their projects, and gave some tips and instructions for the next steps for each stage. The training concluded by an open panel discussion included several questions from the participants, and answers from trainers.
