BCCI Meets with the Association of Importers and Vehicle Dealers – Bethlehem

The BCCI held a meeting at the Chamber’s Headquarters with the Association of Importers and Vehicle Dealers in the Bethlehem Governorate.
The meeting was held to discuss directives from the Ministry of Finance and Customs for the year 2019 regarding imported vehicles. The importers requested that the ministry should roll back its recent decisions and return to its earlier policy. In addition to that, the importers asked the Chamber to continue its support of vehicle import, which serves as an incubator for the development of a range of businesses, and to follow up with the ministry of finance on issues related to the unresolved payment of customs.
The meeting ended with an agreement to form a governorate-wide committee to coordinate with the Chamber and follow up on the latest developments.
