Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomes Pro Terra Sancta Bethlehem

Dr. Hazboun welcomed Mr. Bellamo Director of the Pro Terra Sancta Association in Bethlehem and the accompanying team and provided a detailed explanation about the Chamber’s departments and centers and the roles they play to serve the local community in general as well as youth and women in particular, in addition to the ongoing initiatives implemented by the Chamber of Commerce to improve income level of these categories. While Mr. Vincenzo presented a summary of the project and its objectives, which aim to reduce the unemployment rate among youth and women and provide them with job opportunities in several fields for academic and professional graduates to try to improve their standard of living and support them economically. The discussion also covered a number of interventions that help implement this project and empower young people by providing them with various trainings that help them enter the labor market.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to organize a visit to the Dar Al-Majus Center of the Pro Terra Sancta Association to get acquainted with the place that brings together many social, cultural and religious elements.
