Bethlehem Governorate Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Palestinian Plastic Industries Federation discuss ways of joint cooperation

The two parties discussed main issues facing the plastic industry, which is the second largest industrial sector and the largest employer in our economy but also faces many challenges, particularly in light of the fierce competition from Israeli goods. They also discussed how to increase the productivity and develop the skills of workers in this sector through specialized training that Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce could provide.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to follow up and complete the executive steps that were discussed, as well as to examine the training needs from a technical and administrative aspect in order to start implementing them.
