Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry launch the "The Grape and women products Market” event.
Bethlehem Chamber, in cooperation with the Municipality of Al-Khader, the Directorate of Agriculture, and the Agricultural Relief, inaugurated the activities of the fourth grape market and women’s products in the town of Al-Khader, west of Bethlehem. The market includes many varieties of grapes, such as Dabouki, Jandali, Zinni, Halawani, and Shami, in addition to various grape products such as: raisins, malban, molasses, blueberries, as well as other food processing products such as honey, vinegar, natural juice; and pickles which contribute to strengthening the home economy. This annual event, which lasts for 3 days until Saturday 10/9/2022, aims to enhance the presence of the Palestinian national agricultural product and open the opportunity for farmers to market their products as well as supporting women’s products in order to enhance their market share, as the farmers hope that the market will help them promote their products. Bethlehem Chamber coordinated with Ramallah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Municipality to host Al-Khader farmers to sell their crops during next week in the city of Ramallah, in addition to the fact that some hotel owners purchased quantities of grapes to support them.
