Forsah TVET Program Hosts Workshops to Foster Private Sector Collaboration

Event Date: 24 January 2025

The USAID-funded Forsah TVET program, implemented by IREX, the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), and partners organized outreach workshops for over 35 private sector participants from Ramallah, Bethlehem, Hebron, and Jenin. These sessions introduced the Forsah’s mission to design market-responsive training programs and provide practical training through active private sector collaboration.
The workshops also fostered strategic partnerships with companies across diverse technological and professional sectors, including:
•    Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Maintenance
•    Graphic Design and Printing
•    ICT and Telecommunications
•    Digital Production, Publishing, and Advertising
Participants were introduced to a dedicated online platform for company registration and professional networking. The program emphasized the critical role of private sector collaboration in equipping youth with technical skills, particularly in emerging fields, to drive sustainable economic growth and workforce readiness.
These meetings mark a significant step in the program’s five-year strategy to build long-lasting partnerships, enhance industry competitiveness, and create meaningful job opportunities for Palestinian youth.
