Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry receives the representative of the Republic of Lithuania

Bethlehem Chamber, represented by Dr. Samir Hazboun, Chairman of the Board of Directors, received the representative of the Republic of Lithuania in Palestine Pertas Veniskaitis and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Ms. Amjad Janazreh, coordinator of the businesswomen center. Dr. Samir Hazboun welcomed the guest delegation and highlighted the importance of bilateral meetings between both parties, Dr. Hazboun provided an in-depth description of the current economic conditions in Bethlehem Governorate and Palestine in general and the prospects the country's economy offers, particularly in exporting handicraft items. On the other side, Mr. Veniskaitis talked about chances for bilateral business contacts with Lithuanian businessmen as well as the possibility for collaboration, particularly in dealing with the food and beverage sector. These gatherings are part of the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry's attempts to strengthen business ties both locally and globally.
