Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry honors the former governor Major General Kamel Hemeid

Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a ceremony to honor the former governor, Major General Kamel Hemeid, in appreciation of his contributions during his tenure as the governor of Bethlehem Governorate. The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Dr. Samir Hazboun, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and his deputy Mr. Khaled Al-Darawi. Also present were the Minister of Labor, Dr. Nasri Abu Jish, Mr. Abdo Idris, the President of the Palestinian Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, and Mr. Mohammed Taha, the Acting Governor of Bethlehem, as well as the General Director and the staff of the governorate. Members of the Chamber's Board of Directors, the General Manager, members of the advisory council, and the Chamber's team were also in attendance.

 

In his speech, Dr. Hazboun expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Governor Hemeid, who has been supportive of all economic activities and commended his service to the people of this governorate. Dr. Hazboun mentioned that the Chamber's Board of Directors has decided to grant General Hemeid the honorary presidency of the advisory council, as a recognition of his dedicated efforts and his leadership role in Bethlehem governorate, as well as his continuous support for the national economy. 
On his behalf, General Hemeid expressed his gratitude for this kind gesture from the Chamber and its advisory board. He acknowledged the significant years of work in serving the governorate and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing his efforts to serve the people of Bethlehem and all Palestinians.
